We have free classes during the month of October for cancer survivors and their caregivers. Every Monday and Wednesday, 12:30-1:45pm beginning October 5, 2015 thru October 28, 2015. These will be gentle, restorative and subtly strengthening classes aimed at dealing with the effects of cancer treatment and recovery. Taught by Ann Braden, CYT, E-RYT 500 and also a cancer survivor herself.
Yoga is an amazing practice. It builds strength and flexibility. It relieves stress and calms the mind. It can be a powerful tool in recovery – helping manage or even eliminate physical pain. Yoga is a great addition to any workout regime or as a stand alone practice. There is yoga for every body, at every stage of life. The practice can always meet you right where you are. If you’re not sure, let us reassure you – yoga is for you!
We are located in lovely, old town Granada Hills. We offer vinyasa flow yoga for everyone from beginners to advanced students, gentle yoga, restorative, therapeutics (for those recovering from injuries or with limited mobility) and kundalini. In addition, we have specialized workshops every month including a monthly healing sound bath!
